Description

Circular stone rush-light stand or holder. Carved stone in the shape of a dish possibly made from grey serpentinite, simple rim with concave walls terminating at an acute angle with a kicked base. Horizontal lines wrap around the outer walls and circular incisions on the inside. Bulbous wick holder protrudes from the centre with a circular recess in the top. Some small chips to base and rim.
