Description
Copper alloy hooked tag or strap fitting in the form of a trefoil-shaped plate with a projecting point between each lobe. A hook, broken at the tip, extends from the centre of one lobe. A rectangular loop is attached on the reverse.

However, similar trefoil-shaped hooked tags, found on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database, are generally late Medieval to early Post Medieval in date (c. 1500-1650).
