A nutmeg holder [.1] and lid [.2] in turned and carved wood. The lid is rounded in shape, and decorated with diagonal grooves; disc shaped top handle partially come away and missing. The lid screws onto the holder, and has an added level possibly made of ivory. The holder has concave walls decorated with grooves.
