Context (CMS Context)
This record originally had the Place as simply 'England', but it is possible that 'the Hall' refers to Cole Ambrose's home (referred to as The Hall) in Stuntney, near Ely. The record also gave the Period as '?Modern', but on examination of the sherds, it is clear that most, if not all, of the material is Roman. Finally, there was no Source information but the Accession Register entry makes it clear that it is from the Cole Ambrose Collection. Therefore, the Period and Source fields have been updated accordingly, and Stuntney has been tentatively added to the place field.
