Description
Iron sword or dagger with fan-shaped nagel and bifid handle with bone scales. Single edged, full flat ground blade with flat back; fan-shaped nagel projects at a right-angel from one side of blade base above handle; top edge of nagel incised with evenly spaced slanted lines. Handle is formed of two bone scales pinned to a full tang; handle has an unusual bifid form with two diverging curved ends; one side of handle’s surface features five ring and dot decorations. Transverse break across blade, point is missing.
