Description

Copper alloy shield-shaped horse harness pendant, bearing the Arms of the de Bohun family. Suspension loop attached to the centre of the upper edge. Front decorated with six lions rampant, divided by a diagonal bend consisting of three lines; three lions on each side of the band. The heraldic motif can be described as 'azure a bend argent, cotised and between six lioncels or'. Faint traces of gilding along the upper edge and red (gules) enamel on surface.
