Description
Personal flat seal matrix of copper alloy. Pointed oval face; loop handle at the top on the reverse. On the die, a passant griffin is depicting facing right; the central design is separated from the inscription by a beaded line. The inscription begins with a cross pattée and reads 'S' ROBERTI . FILII . WILL'I.' ('THE SEAL OF ROBERT THE SON OF WILLIAM').
