Description

Small rounded jug of buff brown ware with partial green-brown glaze. Upright externally flanged rim; vertical strap handle attached at rim and shoulder; short neck, flares slightly towards body, decorated with horizontal rough lines of cream slip and light combing; rounded symmetrical body; body tapers to a thickened lip above slightly concave base. Brown glaze with greenish tinge present on upper quarter of jug, irregular splotches of the same glaze present on lower portions.
