Context (Analysis)
Cf. London Museum Medieval Catalogue Plate XXIX no. 11-18, especially no. 14 (though the bit is somewhat different in form) - Type VI keys from London. Type VI keys are reported to date from the 14th and 15th centuries. However, the Portable Antiquities Scheme database also includes similar keys (see especially PUBLIC-836050) that are marked as Post Medieval in date. As such, the Period field has been updated from 'Medieval' to '?Medieval; ?Post Medieval'.
