Context (Amendments / updates)
In his article (2022), Christian Steer identifies John Fuller as John Fuller (the younger), a merchant of the parish of St Clement Colegate (also known as St Clement Fye Bridge), Norwich. Fuller was born about 1486 in Bodham, north Norfolk, and died in Norwich on 1 October 1526 and his will was proved in London on 17 October 1526. Although it is not clear when the brass was removed from St Clement Colegate, Steer argues convincingly that this would have been its original location. Therefore the Place field, which previously just listed 'England', has been updated accordingly.
