Context (Analysis)
Cf. London Museum Medieval Catalogue, especially Fig. 42, Type VIII. Type VIII keys are distinguished by their heart-shaped bows, and are reported to date from the 15th century into the Post Medieval period. As such, the Period field has been changed from 'Medieval' to '?Medieval; ?Post Medieval'.
