Description

Iron rondel-dagger with extant handguard. Single-edged blade is hollow ground with back chamfered to a point; circular handguard is formed of two overlaid iron discs; tang tapers slightly, terminal shaped to accept pommel. Blade features inlaid copper alloy maker’s mark in the form of two opposed crescents, joined at their rear edge.
