Description
Iron prick spur with straight sides, asymmetrical terminals and simple cylindrical goad. Sides have a circular cross-section, one end has a bifid terminal pierced by two circular holes with rivets in both, the other side has the remnants of a single loped terminal also with a rivet in situ. The object is heavily corroded, the terminals may be incomplete, the object may also be a rowel spur with rowel box and rowel missing.
