Description

Bartmann jug incorporating an upright rim, short neck with looped handle attached, bulbous body and flat foot ring base. Made up of a pale brown fabric with light brown salt glaze. Decoration of applied oak leaf and acorn design around the body and Tudor roses around the neck. Incised bands around the rim and base. Raised band between the neck and body. Sherd from the handle is detached but present.
