Description

Large tin-glazed drug jar of Delft Ware. Slightly everted, externally bevelled rim; short, constricted neck; cylindrical body with vertical walls; pedestal concave base. Buff-coloured fabric, white glaze on internal and external surfaces except for base. Body decorated with a horizontal band of diamond pattern in purple in the middle, with horizontal lines in blue and purple above and below. Small part of rim broken off and missing.
