Description
Necked cup of buff brown ware with mottled green glaze. Wide mouth with externally thickened everted rim; short neck above raised horizontal band; vertical strap handle attached at base of neck and at lower body; rounded body tapers to a slight flared flat base. Vivid mottled green glaze present on interior surface and upper three quarters of exterior surface, irregular splotches of the same glaze present on lower body and underside of base; some sooting present on lower body and underside of base.
