Description
Costrel of redware with green marbled glaze on neck and body. Narrow mouth with clubbed rounded rim; long, narrow neck widens into a short bulging body with flattened spherical profile; with pairs of applied triangular projections on either side with gaps from the body perhaps for handles or suspension loops. Tall hollow, flat pedestal base with clubbed rim; no glaze on base. One side of the body and one triangular projection is missing.
