Description
Wing flanged palstave axe of copper alloy, of Hallstatt A type. Rectangular butt; the body incorporates four semicircular flanges, curved in pairs towards the centre of the septum with a small loop on one side; the septum is wider at the butt end, with defined stop. The blade widens towards the curved cutting edge in trapezoidal shape at the tip with triangular profile. A slightly raised line runs down the profile length on each side.
