Description
A jar of medium black fabric with a burnished surface that is black on one half and grey to white on the other half. Hallstatt B. The jar has: a small, flat base flaring to a rounded body, with stamped decoration on the shoulder comprising a row of triangles alternating between two orientations; a slight hollow moulding above the shoulder; a broad, concave neck; an everted, flat-topped rim. Stamped decoration has traces of white infill, possibly lime.
