Description

A small beaker of medium black fabric with a black burnished surface. Hallstatt A. The vessel has: a small, slightly concave base; a body with a rounded lower half and an almost vertical upper half with incised geometric decoration; a flat-topped, slightly everted rim with a shallow indentation around the inner edge. Incised decoration has traces of white infill, possibly lime, and consists of a row of double-outlined triangles with elongated double-outlined rectangles above, and a horizontal line below the rim.
