Bussmann notes that this sealing 'can be classified as design class 6B1-2 in Tufnell's/Ben-Tor's typology, a design originating in the early Middle Kingdom and continuing into the Second Intermediate Period' (p. 322). Therefore 'Old Kingdom' has been removed from the Period field and the field updated accordingly.

Clay sealing, the upper part broken off. The oval impression (1.5 x 0.8 cm) is almost completely preserved, showing vertical and horizontal elements combined with a garland on the left, a curled structure on top and a sign similar to the hieroglyph of a seal on the bottom. (see Bussmann)
