This object previously had no assigned provenance. It was thought this object is from Armant and photographed on plate XXIX fig. 5 of Mond and Myers (see references). However Z 45497 has been also been assigned to this reference. The measurement in the catalogue card for Z 45497 is only L: 7.4 cm which is half the length of that for M.221 in the publication (see page 144). Therefore is is currently unclear if Z 45491 or Z 45497 is M.221 and both should be compared together to determine this. Because it is yet unclear, only tentative association to the chisel in Mond and Myers has been assigned to this record.
