Context (Analysis)
On 19 February 2015, the frontlet was micro-CT scanned using Nikon XTH 225 ST at Cambridge Biotomography Centre, Austin Building, University of Cambridge. The scan revealed a metal pin securing the righthand tine to the skull. Two metal pins hold two-thirds of the extended lefthand tine to the base of tine. The full results of the scan, which was primarily undertaken for 3D printing purposes, will be written up by Dr Paola Di Franco.
