In August 2015, Prof. Stuart Campbell and Dr Elizabeth Healey, University of Manchester, tested part of this idno using a portable XRF as part of a programme of obsidian source analysis of Middle Eastern material. The envelope containing the tested piece(s) of obsidian has been marked 'XRF Tested 2015'.
