Context (Amendments / updates)
Z 46206 – Z 46220 were previously entered as from '?Southampton Island' and collected by Graham Rowley in 1936. However, they correspond to those excavated by Rowley in 1937 at the site of Uluksan, Arctic Bay, drawings of which are in his excavation notebook (XA/1/39/2). The Place field has been updated accordingly.

Description (Physical description)
One oblong piece of worked wood; wider end broken off and missing, tapering towards a squared end with transverse groove on both sides. Towards wider end on one side a wide transverse groove. Wood longitudinally split over almost the entire length.
