Context (Amendments / updates)
An undated note in the database states: 'The box in which the objects [Z 46204.1-7] were found was marked "North Ryder Island".' At some point, the material comprising Z 46204.1-7 was removed from that box and placed in one of the boxes containing material from Nuqsarnaq. Z 46204.1-7 was accessioned as being from Nuqsarnaq, from Area N. It is unclear on what basis this decision was taken and the objects themselves are not marked with any identifying information. As such, North Ryder Island has been tentatively added to the Place field, and Thomas Thomson Paterson and the Wordie Arctic Expedition have been tentatively added to the Source field.

Description (Physical description)
Three pieces of grey stone, comprised of five pieces. Two flat, rectangular pieces connect and have a burnished layer along one wall, and two holes drilled on each side. Three other pieces, two connecting, with evidence of burning and a thick layer of black on one side.
