Context (Amendments / updates)
Z 46198 – Z 46201 and Z 46203 were entered into the Z register as from the site of Nuqsarnaq, presumably based on the excavation numbers, which all start with ‘N’. However they actually correspond to those objects excavated by Rowley in June 1937 at the site of Neawhatolik, Strathcona Sound, drawings of which are in his excavation notebook (XA/1/39/2). The Place field and Field Collection have been updated accordingly.

Description (Physical description)
Point of worked bone or antler, possibly part of a fishing spear. Cylindrical cross-section, tapering to a pointed tip; lower section faceted and terminated by a transverse break; half of a circular perforation extant above break.
