Context (Amendments / updates)
Z 46198 – Z 46201 and Z 46203 were entered into the Z register as from the site of Nuqsarnaq, presumably based on the excavation numbers, which all start with ‘N’. However they actually correspond to those objects excavated by Rowley in June 1937 at the site of Neawhatolik, Strathcona Sound, drawings of which are in his excavation notebook (XA/1/39/2). The Place field and Field Collection have been updated accordingly.

Description (Physical description)
Section of worked bone, possibly a handle, with one end sawn and snapped and the other gnawed with visible teeth marks. Ovoid cross-section; shallow saw marks on surface.
