Context (Amendments / updates)
Z 46198 – Z 46201 and Z 46203 were entered into the Z register as from the site of Nuqsarnaq, presumably based on the excavation numbers which all started with ‘N’. However they actually correspond to those objects excavated by Rowley in June 1937 at the site of Neawhatolik, Strathcona Sound, drawings of which are in his excavation notebook (XA/1/39/2). The Place field and Field Collection have been updated accordingly.

Description (Physical description)
Worked piece of bone or ivory, possibly a knife handle. Roughly rectangular in plan with concavo-convex cross-section; one end bevelled, the other end stepped.
