Tube of ivory [A] with a bone point or blade [B], possibly a handle and knife. Hollow cylindrical section of narwhal ivory, cut and shaped at both ends; length of worked bone with triangular cross section, tapering to a point with possible slot; part of articulation retained at opposite end.

Z 46148.58 A-B was originally described as a handle and knife, and found with B slotted through the centre of A. The width and cross-section of the hollow part of A does not match that of B very well and would require a lot of wedging to hold firm. It is possible that these two pieces were not originally used together.
