Description

Bone figurine of a polar bear, possibly used as a handle. Schematic carving of a polar bear with plano-convex cross-section; head has snout, eyes and ears with a grooved cross on the back of the head; six parallel grooves across the back of the neck; curved and straight grooves on the back of the body possibly indicating ribs; front legs partially indicated below. Broken at the rear end.
