Description

Two slender pieces of carved ivory and bone, possibly drill bow shafts. The object made of ivory [.1] has a lenticular cross-section, rounded edges and tips at both ends, and it is coated with red pigment. Minor scratches and loss or superficial material. The second object [.2] made of bone is plano-convex with rectangular cross-section; is slightly waisted on one side and notched on its terminal edge. The opposite end has a flat tip. Irregular grooves on the surface. Light-brown patina.
