Description

Rectangular fragment of carved wood with drilled holes of various sizes and two wood pegs, possibly a fitting or part of a handle. Flat cross-section, slightly curved, with square ending edge; five small drilled holes on the existing edge, another set of five small drilled holes located about 10 mm from the first set, and three small drilled holes, one with a wooden peg, on the broken side of the fragment. An additional small drilled hole with a wooden peg features in the middle section, together with other two bigger drilled holes. The fragment has cracks and has a dark-brown coloration throughout the surface.
