This collection was previously entered as from '?Southampton Island' and collected by Graham Rowley in 1936. However, they correspond to those excavated by Rowley in 1937 at the site of Avartoq [Akbahtok], Strathcona Sound, drawings of which are in his excavation notebook (XA/1/39/4). The Place field has been updated accordingly.

One point of worked wood, triangular in cross section with rounded corners. Wider end broken off; other end tapering into a broken off tip. One face blackened with an unknown sticky substance.
