Object does not appear to be broken. It has a rounded tip and the shaft is cut away to a slope at the other end, with incised marks on the sloped area.

Context (Amendments / updates)
This collection was previously entered as from '?Southampton Island' and collected by Graham Rowley in 1936. However, they correspond to those excavated by Rowley in 1937 at the site of Avartoq [Akbahtok], Strathcona Sound, drawings of which are in his excavation notebook (XA/1/39/4). The Place field has been updated accordingly.
