Description (Physical description)
One oblong piece of worked wood, possibly part of a handle. One side flat, the other convexly shaped. One end completely broken off and frayed, the other is squared with a convex tip and also partly broken off. One circular perforation at squared end.

Context (Amendments / updates)
This collection was previously entered as from '?Southampton Island' and collected by Graham Rowley in 1936. However, they correspond to those excavated by Rowley in 1937 at the site of Avartoq [Akbahtok], Strathcona Sound, drawings of which are in his excavation notebook (XA/1/39/4). The Place field has been updated accordingly.
