Slate harpoon end-blade or arrowhead. Triangular in shape with retouched edges, slightly bevelled; tapering to the point with a small central midrib on one face and countersunk perforation below. Flat butt end with lenticular cross-section. Small chip missing from one face.

This collection was previously entered as from '?Southampton Island' and collected by Graham Rowley in 1936. However, they correspond to those excavated by Rowley in 1937 at the site of Avartoq [Akbahtok], Strathcona Sound, drawings of which are in his excavation notebook (XA/1/39/4). The Place field has been updated accordingly.
