Context (Amendments / updates)
This collection was previously entered as from '?Southampton Island' and collected by Graham Rowley in 1936. However, they correspond to those excavated by Rowley in 1937 at the site of Avartoq [Akbahtok], Strathcona Sound, drawings of which are in his excavation notebook (XA/1/39/4). The Place field has been updated accordingly.

Description (Physical description)
Two slate end-blades. A is triangular with excurvate retouched sides; a flat butt end with lenticular cross-section; a perforation on one side, and the tip missing. B is incomplete and in two pieces, with a flat butt end and one side created with multiple drill holes.
