Description (Physical description)
Piece of bone worked into a point, possibly with litharge staining. The shaft has a triangular cross-section, with a thick butt end; the other end worked into a flat, triangular point.

Context (Amendments / updates)
This collection was previously entered as from '?Southampton Island' and collected by Graham Rowley in 1936. However, they correspond to those excavated by Rowley in 1937 at the site of Avartoq [Akbahtok], Strathcona Sound, drawings of which are in his excavation notebook (XA/1/39/4). The Place field has been updated accordingly.
