Worked piece of tusk ivory, possibly narwhal, likely an incomplete peg or point. It is cylindrical, with a central internal cavity and some diagonal crack lines on the exterior; tapering to a flat end cut into triangular shape.

This collection was previously entered as from '?Southampton Island' and collected by Graham Rowley in 1936. However, they correspond to those excavated by Rowley in 1937 at the site of Avartoq [Akbahtok], Strathcona Sound, drawings of which are in his excavation notebook (XA/1/39/4).
