Context (Amendments / updates)
This collection was previously entered as from '?Southampton Island' and collected by Graham Rowley in 1936. However, they correspond to those excavated by Rowley in 1937 at the site of Avartoq [Akbahtok], Strathcona Sound, drawings of which are in his excavation notebook (XA/1/39/4). The Place field has been updated accordingly.

Description (Physical description)
Two worked pieces of wood. One is likely a tool; most if flat with two lashing grooves and a rounded end, the other is taller and flat. The other is likely a chip from a larger piece.
