Wooden bureau with hinged lift-up top compartment, roll-up curved front covered in velvet, and a drop down front panel. Has a mirror and drawer behind the roll-up front and a second drawer in the front. Decorated inside and out with gold, green and brown straw marquetry in geometric patterns. The box has carved bone handles. Contains jet beads and a letter.
