Description
Rectangular wood and bone box on four legs with triangular sliding lid and cribbage board. Decorated with bone panels and brightly coloured paintings of landscapes, seascapes and people, under glass panels. Some of bone carved panels are infilled with red and green paint. Contains 40 bone cards, dominoes and a spinning top (tee-to-tum).

Description (Physical description)
Box with feet and with sliding, arched lid, covered with thin bone plates. The sides and lid are ornamented with water colour paintings of flowers, etc., and of figures dressed in the so called Incroyable fashions of the 1790's, framed under glass in panels cut in the bone. The box contains dominoes and a pack of cards, made of bone and painted; the lid is flanked by marking boards for cribbage.
