Description

Rectangular bone gaming box with three compartments with sliding lids, the outer two having domed lids. Whole box decorated with high quality carvings of embossed classical figures on the lids, and entwined floral motifs round the sides with swords and helmets. The base has a painting of the female figure 'Justice' with scales and a sword standing on a balustraded balcony framed with pink curtains. Contains bone cards, 9-spot dominoes, 9 skittles, 3 die, 2 balls, and 3 pegs.

The box contains bone dominoes, dice, ninepins,etc., and a complete set of cards made of bone and painted. Highly skilled and elaborate work
