Context (Amendments / updates)
The Accession Register references that of the 12 objects with the idno Z 24129, 'Collection of 12 flint implements... One scraper belongs to Fox Collection - No.624'. This alongside the reference to 'part' on the catalogue card suggests that only one should be assigned to G.J. Buscall Fox and the others are not. As the source field only tentatively assigned a 'Fox' collector, previously stating '?Fox Collection; ?Fox, Cyril', and an earlier context field stating 'Collected by: ?Fox.G.J.B; ?Fox.Cyril' the '?Fox Collection; ?Fox.Cyril' has been removed until further enquiry.

Context (Amendments / updates)
The catalogue card reads: 'Fox Coll. (part)'. Because only one of the 12 objects seen with idno Z 24129 has been marked with a G.J. Buscall Fox number (which correlates to the Fox Catalogue) it could be that only this object should be given Fox as a source and this is what the 'part' refers to. Fox has a very distinctive marking system and no other objects with this idno has his mark.

Context (Other owners)
The marking on this objects follows the same initials for those of other objects assigned to Thomas McKenny Hughes. He has therefore been added to the Source field.
