Description

Vessel; sherd - 2 fragments, both including rim, of a vessel with unusually smooth surface; decorated with impressed designs, roughly pear shaped; well modelled rim, with raised rib below it; below this the pot takes a sharp hollow curve. Technique suggests Bronze Age (similar surface to 1927.55-57); but shape does not suggest any common Bronze Age form, and rather recalls Early Iron Age forms, e.g. the Vazza
