Description
Copper-alloy Nuremberg 'rose and orb' jetton of Hans Schultes. Obverse depicts crowns and fleurs-de-lis around a central rose. Reverse shows an imperial orb surmounted by a cross pattée contained within a tressure of three arches and three angles. Roman lettering around the border of each face. Obverse reads: 'HANS SCHULTES IN NVRENBERG'. And reverse reads: 'GLVK KVMPT VON GOT DEM HER' ['Happiness comes from God the Lord'].
