Description (CMS Description)
Globular. High neck. Slightly flattened base. Knobbed at the shoulder (six knobs). Parallel grooves round neck. Band of zig zag design above shoulder, combined with shallow dots. Vertical and diagonal grooving between the knobs at shoulder.
'Complete except for half rim and small part of body; mass of plant material in the base. J.Somerville 25/5/2001.'

Description (Physical description)
Globular pot with high neck, slightly everted rim and flattened base; burnished surface. Four parallel grooves around neck; above shoulder is a band of multi-lined chevrons, irregularly enclosing shallow dots. Six shoulder bosses with panels containing horizontal, vertical and diagonal grooves and shallow dots. Damage to rim and lower body; one sherd detached but present. Evidence of heat spalling on body. Mass of plant material in pot.
