Copper alloy flanged axehead or palstave. Slightly flared, triangular blade with sloping body of rectangular cross-section; pronounced stop-ridge. Low rib along centre of blade. Single, wide loop.

Rowlands gives the provenance as being in Cambridgeshire although nowhere is this definitively stated as being the case. The provenance may be either near to Downham Market in Norfolk or Little Downham in Cambridgeshire.
