Context (CMS Context)
This arrowhead was at some point, probably during WWI, confused with another arrowhead donated in 1915: that is 1915.232, which was found in Cherry Hinton. The information for the two arrowheads was inadvertently combined because of confusion over the Annual Report number, and Miss A.B. Taylor was listed as the source for this arrowhead. This is incorrect, and the Cambridge Antiquarian Society has now replaced Miss Taylor in the Source field. The fuller description of this arrowhead, taken from the 1915 Accession Register, has also been added to the Description field. For information about the arrowhead from Cherry Hinton, and how the confusion arose, see 1915.232. 8/6/2014 I.Gunn
